Sustainability

Copel defined the implementation of a business management model focused on sustainability as a priority. This model, based on the Company's values and an optimized process management, aims to achieve social, economic and environmental results that are equally beneficial to all stakeholders and to ensure sustainable growth and development for the Company in order to comply with international governance, transparency and sustainability standards, pursuant to the commitment renewed with the United Nations Global Compact, of which Copel has been a signatory since 2000.

The corporate management model for sustainability is part of Copel’s corporate planning and sustainability management, with a view to focusing efforts on reaching and ensuring, based on Copel’s values and on optimized procedure management, compliance with the interests of stakeholders, as well as the sustainable development and growth of the Company.
